DANILA MOLLO
Graphic Designer
Embracing challenges with creative excellence Argentinian and Italian living in Denmark

ABOUT ME
I am Danila Mollo, a Graphic Designer from Argentina who in 2020 emigrated to Denmark.
Challenges are my motivation; it is one of the reasons why I moved to the other side of the world, to grow personally and professionally.
My passion for design, creativity and new technologies, drives me to constantly learn and improve myself.
I also believe that ideas flow better when you share them, so I like teamwork.

During my studies and experiences afterwards,
I developed skills such as:
Proficiency in design programs, for example:
Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
I developed 3D designs for a better visualization of the projects.
I explored the art of typography to create impactful messages through design.
I translated concepts into compelling images, both in print and digital media.
I collaborated on various projects, refining my ability to work within creative teams.
I accepted design challenges, fostering innovative problem-solving skills.
MY PORTFOLIO

Brand identity
I developed this fictive brand, to demonstrate how I can create a brand identity for products that embody aesthetic, creative, and practical values.
For example, I designed visual elements such as a logo, corporate colors, typography, and other graphic elements used in the brand's visual communication.
Of course, the brand identity doesn't end here; it's just a brief overview of the possibilities.

App design
Building upon the previously developed brand identity, this is a visualization of an app created entirely in "Figma", which it is a collaborative design and prototyping tool employed by designers and teams to craft user interfaces and interactive designs for websites and applications.

Thesis project
For my university thesis, I designed the visual identity for the cultural division of the Argentine Embassy in Denmark.
The objective was to promote Argentine culture and tourism through a series of events in Copenhagen. This was an hypothetical project.
I designed various design elements, including a logo, food packaging for distribution at events, promotional pins, t-shirts for exhibitors, interactive applications, an Instagram feed, a website, an advertising campaign, and a 3D stand design.

Merchandise proposal for Pepsi
This is a merchandising proposal I developed for Pepsi, aligning with their design guidelines, mission, and vision.
Before crafting my designs, I analyzed Pepsi's existing design pieces and provided a rationale for each decision in a separate presentation.
I also tailored the proposal to fit Smukfest, considering the festival's demographic of energetic socially engaged young adults aged 20 to 30 who camp onsite.
It was an enriching experience, and I'm excited to share the final images of this project.

Book design
Art and design - Cover and back cover for the book "Reflexiones con rima".
The caricature-style design on the book's cover and back highlights its humor, complementing the author's award-winning humorous writing.
While the book features a variety of poems, the 'pelusitas' are the humorous gems within the collection, challenging traditional poetry expectations.

Illustrations
I create a wide range of artwork, from traditional to digital, exploring various styles. I use tools like Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Fresco, and I also delve into AI art. You can discover more of my creations, including animations, on my Instagram profile.

My illustration on TV2 - 2023
I made this design to support Theodor Vestergaard, one of the participants of X-Factor 2023.
Theodor's family and friends liked my design and started printing t-shirts and posters. Later, to my pleasant surprise, they contacted me to ask my permission to use my design on the big screen of TV2 and in their set design. It was a great experience for me.

AI Exploration
Exploring AI possibilities as a graphic designer enables endless creativity, pushing craft boundaries. As a designer, staying updated on AI developments is crucial, as it can significantly enhances and expedites our work.
This is a working process in which I combined AI with my skills as an illustrator:

First I developed a vector using the same prompt:

I chose one and I modified the color palette:
Here I made adjustments to the design by redrawing the vector to align it with my artistic objectives:

Final result:

Photography
I specialized in newborn photography. Additionally, I've gained extensive experience in various photography genres, including family portraits, weddings, birthday parties, and product photography.
